Stories

"Stories" is a musical journey through my creative universe, featuring compositions primarily created for games from the Indian Ocean islands in 2023. Through this album, I aimed to capture the unique essence of the landscapes, cultures, and stories that shape these islands. Each track evokes tales filled with adventure, discovery, and emotion.

The album's title track, "Tell Me Stories", perfectly embodies this spirit. It narrates the epic journey of mysterious beings arriving on an unknown island, exploring themes such as diversity, solidarity, and brotherhood. This piece was crafted to symbolize the beauty of unity between the peoples and cultures of the islands. Its evolving melody, rich orchestrations, and nuanced tones take the listener on a sonic journey that is both introspective and captivating.

Yas: Christmas Under the Baobab Tree

For Yas's Christmas campaign, I developed a composition that combines symphonic orchestra and traditional Malagasy instruments. The opening presents a Valiha arrangement that evolves into a richer orchestration. The piece's dynamic progression follows the brand's storytelling: from gathering to a broader message of unity.

This approach creates a distinctive sonic signature that reinforces Yas's identity while celebrating our culture.

Connecteo: Where Service Matters as Much as Product

I chose to approach this composition as a true cinematic piece, rather than following traditional advertising codes. The music begins with a comedic tone, capturing the light-hearted and humorous atmosphere of an overwhelmed vendor. As customer service issues mount, the music shifts to more dramatic accents, reflecting the urgency of the situation.

Finally, when Connecteo steps in with the solution, the music takes an adventurous and optimistic turn, symbolizing the transformation and improvement through quality customer service. This musical approach gives the commercial narrative depth, while reinforcing Connecteo's key message: a business can excel through effective customer service.

Baume Mafana: Back to Roots

For Havozo Aroma's balm, a "Made in Madagascar" product, I composed music in a trendy Malagasy style, ensuring it remained dynamic and easily memorable. The music reflects not only the modernity of the local market but also the spirit of countryside and nature, perfectly aligned with the values of the product, made from Malagasy plants.

This musical choice creates a connection between the product and its natural environment, while captivating the audience with a contemporary and catchy melody.

Makua Festival

For Makua Music Festival, I composed a trailer score that matches the magnitude and grandeur of this iconic event. The composition is decidedly epic, with powerful orchestrations that capture the festival's scale and energy. The goal was to translate the event's intensity and emotion into music, taking the audience on a grand and immersive experience.

This music complements the trailer by enhancing its visual impact and amplifying the grandeur of the festival, promising an unforgettable musical adventure.
